Episode 012 BRITTNEY ELLERS: BUILDING BODY AWARENESS THROUGH WOMENS HEALTH

In this episode we sit down with....

Brittney Ellers. Physical Therapist and Yoga Teacher.

As a Doctor of Physical Therapy and a Registered Yoga Teacher, Brittney has been educating the public on injury prevention and rehabilitative therapy. She has a special interest in teaching about how women’s menstrual cycles impact their work/home focus, exercise, diet and overall lifestyle through her Woke & Well Women workshops. She is passionate about helping men and women transform into parents during the prenatal and postpartum period of their lives, and is certified in prenatal yoga and pelvic floor physical therapy. She treats holistically in North County San Diego, using a blend of her skills in her own practice, Being Better.

What we talk about:

  • Navigating growing up and having a close relationship with her younger brother

  • Joining a sorority and realizing the positive power of community

  • Experimenting with different workouts and learning the right formula for moving her body

  • Her career journey and the positive impact of having mentors

  • Her shift from from a scarcity mindset to an abundance mindset

  • All things female health: pelvic floor, period health, cycle syncing and the intentional changes she makes during these times
