I'm Katelyn Parsons


I'm a Life Coach, certified in Intuitive Eating, Body Image, & Holistic Health.

My role in our coaching relationship is to support you in healing your relationship with food & your body image! I do this through a customized blend of goal setting, therapeutic questions, teaching, intuition, and accountability.

 
 

When I was deep into my own binge eating (even as a Health Coach), food felt like a constant preoccupation...

I couldn’t remember what it felt like to be “comfortably full” after a meal.

I was so consumed with guilt, anxiety, shame, and course-correcting around food, I’d often feel like I was having an out-of-body experience when I was with someone- a lot of times I couldn’t even remember the conversation.

I was used to binging in secrecy- everything from sneaking back into the kitchen and binging on leftovers to eating in closets and my car.

I was exhausted. Burned out by binging and thinking about all of the ways that I could "fix" my overeating struggle on my own. Feeling the anxiety of my body changing every single day because I couldn't control myself.

I was so stuck. And I hit multiple breaking points until finally, I had to make a courageous choice to focus on my healing. Not only did it transform my relationship with food, but in every area of my life.

Your relationship with food has nothing to do with willpower. Or finding the perfect pair of Spanx to restrict your stomach capacity and leave you feeling claustrophobic. Or finding a magic meal plan.

I know that sounds like a grandiose promise. But if there's one thing I know, it's the in's and out's of binging and how to heal it.

I've done crazy things around food. And there is NO shame.

And I also get the shame piece- I know how it feels to hear the "no shame" mantra when you're experiencing it to your core.

But I've walked this walk. I've healed myself and I've walked countless women through healing their own cycle with binge eating and body shame.
