Fitness Apps Fueled My Binge Eating. Here’s What I Wish I Had Known Then.

I spent most of my life trying to "figure out" my food binges on my own…

What I THOUGHT I needed at the time was more rules around what I was eating- something to really help me crackdown and "stay on track".

So I tried EVERYTHING. Weight Watchers, MyFitnessPal, food journaling, calorie counting, intermittent fasting, Atkins, meal plans, and working with fitness trainers.

I looked up calories or carbs before I went to any restaurant. I suppressed my cravings with gum, mints, and coffee. I kept as little food in my kitchen as possible so that I wouldn’t be tempted.

And still, the binges continued.

I’d be "doing really good!!" until my breaking point of stuffing myself with everything from piles of vegetables to cartons of cookies.

I always felt disgusting, bloated, and broken afterward.

FINALLY- after so many years trying to find the answer to "fix" my binges, I learned WHY this was happening- why I was constantly stuck.

I was so focused on everyone else's plan, that it didn’t even occur to me that it started with MY OWN BODY.

Understanding what was constantly road blocking its ability to THRIVE without feeling constantly obsessed with everything that I was eating.

Living a binge-free life has changed my life, and it’s one of my FAVORITE WAYS TO HELP CLIENTS.
