I'll be honest...right now we’re down to 2 rolls of TP and a few boxes of tissues (eep!!)...something that I literally never think about under normal circumstances because (THANKFULLY) it’s always there.
And that regular"chill" feeling around bathroom products...
It’s really no different from our food thoughts/desires...
RESTRICTION LEADS TO BINGING.
You’ve might have heard me say this before, but man are we seeing this IRL right now...
Maybe it’s limiting TP, sweets, or overall calories...
Your body is SMART and is just trying to protect you.
It doesn’t know if something is wrong, so when we put rules around food (or bathroom products!) it feels like a famine.
And then our mind gets involved.
"Can’t tell me what I can and can’t eat"
"I already blew it- better just eat everything and get back on track later"
"This is the last time I’m going to eat this"
I used to have these food thoughts ALL THE TIME.
I felt broken because I couldn’t "fix" my food binges...
I thought more rules + eating less was always the answer- if I JUST had more willpower.
