Modern Roasted Trail Mix
Like most of the recipes that I share, this can be made SO many different ways.
Swap out nuts or switch up the seasoning combination for different flavor, texture and nutrients!
But if you just want to the basics, the recipe below will give you a delicious option for a Power Snack. I also love topping this salads for some healthy fat + protein and salty crunch.
Bonus tip: you can swap out the savory spices for cinnamon, nutmeg, and 2 TBSP maple syrup for a sweeter grain-free granola. ENJOY ;)
Modern Girl Roasted Trail Mix (8 servings of 1/4 C)
2 cups Almonds (raw)
1/2 tsp Sea Salt + seasoning of choice (generous sprinkle of garlic powder, chili powder, rosemary, dill, paprika, curry powder etc.- switching up the flavor is the best part!)
2 cups Cashews
1 cup Pumpkin Seeds
1/2 TBSP melted coconut oil or avocado oil.
Toss all ingredients in a bowl and spread onto a large pan.
Bake in the oven on 350 for 8-10 minutes.
Remove from the oven and let cool.
Option to portion out 1/4 Cup into little bags or containers for an easy + energizing snack.
