Business Name/Brief Description:
My business is Nani Lani. We are a San Diego based business that creates clothing for your everyday wear. Our comfortable leggings and cute tops can take you anywhere from hot yoga, to running errands around town. Prints are our specialty! We love to create leggings that help you stand out from the crowd while adding a little SoCal touch. All of our clothing is made here in Southern California, so we are always being inspired by our beautiful surroundings.

How do you usually start your mornings?
I like to start my mornings by reading my Bible Gateway verse of the day and drinking a glass of water. After that, I am ready for the day!

What get's you excited about the work that you do?
Feedback from happy customers gets me excited. It validates that I am doing something right and people love the products I have created. I also love all the wonderful people I get to meet. I have met so many different people and created new friendships along the way.

How would you describe your ideal client?
Anyone who isn’t afraid to stand out from the crowd! We want our customers to feel confident and amazing when they have our leggings on.

What’s one piece of advice you teach consistently, that would help someone take action today?
I always encourage our customers to take a chance and be bold. Although, not everyone wears printed leggings I think, everyone should own at least one pair. Most people think printed leggings aren’t flattering, but ours are the complete opposite. Our compression fabric and flattering prints make your legs look AMAZING. You never know, until you try something new. ;)

Let's segue to girl talk... Where do you get most of your clothes?
When I am not in leggings, I usually shop at Lost & Found, Free People, or the Zara kids section (the kids clothes are more colorful and fun).

What’s the best TV show you’ve binge-watched?
The Great British Bake Off, Stranger Things, Last Chance U (I love sports, I always look forward to the new seasons of this show).

Can you describe what a night of self-care would look like for you?
Playing soccer! I grew up playing competitive soccer, so any chance I get to play now that I am older makes me happy and helps me relieve stress. Most girls take bubble baths; I like to get sweaty and leave it all out on the field.

Which girl boss are you currently inspired by?
I am really inspired by Gretta Rose van Riel. She is the owner of Drop Bottle and SkinnyMe Tea, and used social media marketing to grow her businesses to over 15 million followers, and go from 0-$600,00 in revenue in just 6 months all from Instagram… GOALS!

What’s one wellness trend that you have on your list to try?
If I am honest, I am not one for wellness trends. But, I would love to get the courage to try acupuncture. I have heard such great things about it but my fear of needles is holding me back!

If someone wanted to get to know you better where should they go?
My website is and my Instagram is @nanilani.
