Mindful Mob is a Corporate Wellness offering. We bring peace to the office in order to overcome mental and physical burnout, by sharing very simple and approachable mindfulness techniques. We suggest these through either a 30 minute Mindful Meditation session or a 50 minute Mindful Yoga session designed for the corporate setting.
Melody Le Goff is my partner and co-founder. Together we hold certifications in Yoga 200 - RYT, Mindfulness Corporate Consulting, Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin, Reiki, Mindfulness Meditation, Breathwork and Sound Healing.
How do you usually start your mornings?
Laughing with my husband, followed by a 7-11 minute meditation, then walking my dog Boots.
What get's you excited about the work that you do?
Offering peace of mind through yoga and meditation or simple breathing techniques to those who may not be exposed to the option otherwise! I really do believe that anyone and everyone could and should practice some form of relaxation. We live in such a busy "hustle + bustle" society that it has now been proven STRESS is the #1 cause for most illnesses or dis-ease. So if we gain control over how we react or respond to people, places and things - then we CAN change how our body reacts to "stress".
How would you describe your ideal client?
Pretty much anyone who falls under the category of a human being that is living in today's world in a corporate environment. Someone who may have a Monday - Friday "job" that is away from home for most of their week catering their attention outwards to others. Anyone who is on a computer or phone over 75% of their day to day life. People who know that they can feel better in their body and mind, who know that they deserve to feel good and want to.
What’s one piece of advice you teach consistently, that would help someone take action today?
Just one? Ha! OK, well my biggest one is to be playful and take things lightly.
I truly believe that everything is energy, our body, our thoughts, everything. So when "things" feel heavy they weigh us down and when there is a feeling of "lightness" they lift us up. If we don't take things too literally or personally and get that everything is temporary then life just kinda happens easier and more fun, it's really freeing ya know!
Let's segue to girl talk... Where do you get most of your clothes?
LOL, love it! Believe it or not, I am not a big shopper! I know I know, awful right?! But when I do buy, it usually is at a boutique shop in a cute small town. I have to absolutely fall in love with a piece of clothing before taking it home.
What’s the best TV show you’ve binge-watched?
Recently? It was The Man in the High Castle and now The Americans. In the not so distant past… SEX IN THE CITY!
Can you describe what a night of self-care would look like for you?
Taking a yoga class, followed by a hot shower, exfoliate and mask with Spa Technologies, roll my feet over a tennis ball or this yellow spiky ball I have, watching a show or movie with my hubby while petting Boots. Pretty chill!
What’s one wellness trend that you have on your list to try?
LOL there are soooo many to try! Well I have definitely done my share of juicing and supplementing with superfoods (since I founded and co-own JuiceBuzz in Delray Beach, FL)! I think the idea of a water fast is intriguing and scary at the same time.
